Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, stylized 3D charactermodels and textures
- Develop low poly models suitable for gameenvironments
- Hand-paint textures without relying on PBRtechniques
- Adhere to and replicate the specific artstyle associated with our video games
- Collaborate with the art team to maintainconsistency across characters
- Optimize 3D models and textures for gameperformance
- Participate in the art review process anditerate based on feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends in stylized3D character creation
Ruirements and Skills
- Proficiency in 3D Studio Max for modeling andtexturing
- Expert-level skills in hand-painting textures
- Strong understanding of low poly modelingtechniques
- Experience in creating game-ready 3D assets
- Solid grasp of anatomy, proportion, andcharacter design principles
- Excellent eye for color, form, and detail instylized art
- Strong portfolio demonstrating stylized, lowpoly character work
- Ability to work efficiently and meetdeadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on video gamesdevelopment’s art
- Familiarity with character design and artdirection
- Knowledge of animation principles and riggingbasics
- Experience with other 3D software packages(e.g., Maya, Blender)
- Understanding of game engine limitations andoptimization techniques
