DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to add to our exceptional team.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve developer efficiency and provide infrastructure support to multiple engineering teams
• Create repeatable processes for provisioning and scaling AWS-based infrastructure to support multiple multi-tenant SaaS-based products
• Review cloud cost-spend and identify savings opportunities
• Provide operations support for SaaS products and underlying infrastructure, including on-call duties
• Implement observability strategies to identify and improve site reliability for multiple SaaS products
• Create visibility into Site performance and usage for multiple SaaS products
• Adhere to our Security Operations policies and continually identify opportunities to advance our SecOps best practices
• Identify improvements to our automated CI/CD pipelines

Requirements and Skills

• Previous experience working in a DevOps Engineering role.
• Working knowledge of Cloud Native technologies, Containerization (Docker), and Container Orchestration (ECS or EKS)
• Hands-on experience with scripting and Terraform for provisioning cloud-based infrastructure
• Building and deploying a cloud application to a production environment, and maintaining availability and scalability using industry best practices.
• Configuring and managing a variety of AWS services such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, Security Groups, IAM, S3, SQS, RDS, Aurora, Redshift; not all required.
• Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting
• Configuration Management tools such as Chef, Ansible or Puppet
• Leveraging an APM and Log Management solution for monitoring application health and performance
• CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or Gitlab CI
